Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly does a Christian wellness practitioner and FDNP do?
As a Christian wellness practitioner and Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner (FDNP) I guide you in creating sustainable habits that support your energy, digestion, mood, sleep, and overall wellbeing. Using advanced wellness assessments and a biblical approach to body stewardship I provide education, accountability, and personalized strategies tailored to your goals so you can feel more balanced and supported in your daily life.

Do you diagnose or treat medical conditions?
No. As an FDNP and educator I do not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. My role is to support your body through lifestyle, nutrition, and stress reduction strategies while working within a non-medical educational framework. I encourage all clients to maintain a relationship with a licensed healthcare provider for medical care.

How is this different from seeing a doctor or dietitian?
Unlike a doctor or dietitian I do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or prescriptions. Instead I focus on helping you understand how your daily habits, environment, and stress patterns may be influencing your overall wellness. My work with clients is about making practical, sustainable lifestyle changes that complement not replace conventional medical care.

What kinds of concerns can this help with?
Many clients come to me experiencing low energy, digestive discomfort, irregular cycles, trouble sleeping, or difficulty managing stress. While I do not treat specific conditions we work together to identify patterns, uncover hidden stressors, and implement natural strategies that promote balance, resilience, and vitality.

What does a session look like?
Each session is a one-on-one conversation where we review your progress, explore any challenges, and adjust your plan as needed. You will receive actionable steps and practical tools that fit your life always at your pace and without judgment.

How long do clients typically work with you?
Most clients work with me for 3 to 6 months depending on their goals and needs. Wellness is a journey not a quick fix and real transformation takes time. I will walk alongside you through each step.

Can I work with you if I am already under a doctor’s care?
Yes. Many of my clients are working with a doctor or specialist and choose to work with me alongside that care. I am happy to help you make lifestyle and wellness changes that align with your provider’s recommendations.

Do you diagnose or treat medical conditions?

No. As a health coach and educator, I do not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease. My role is to support your body through lifestyle and nutrition strategies while working within a non-medical, educational framework. I encourage all clients to maintain a relationship with a licensed healthcare provider for medical care.

How is this different from seeing a doctor or dietitian?

Unlike a doctor or dietitian, I don’t provide medical advice, diagnosis, or prescribe treatment plans. Instead, I focus on day-to-day behavior change, helping you understand how lifestyle, stress, food, sleep, and environment may be affecting how you feel. My role complements, not replaces, conventional medical care.

What if I am not sure this is right for me?
That is exactly what my free consultation is for. We will talk about what you are experiencing and see if this kind of support is a good fit. No pressure just an open conversation.

Do you use lab testing?
Yes. As an FDNP I have access to a variety of functional wellness lab assessments that can help reveal hidden stressors and patterns affecting your wellbeing. These tests are not for diagnosing disease but rather for providing deeper insight into your body’s function so we can create a targeted lifestyle and nutrition plan.

Do you work with men or only women?
I work with both men and women. My approach is personalized for each individual and focuses on supporting whole body health in alignment with biblical principles.

Is faith a required part of working with you?
I work with people of all faith backgrounds and meet each client where they are. My own practice is rooted in biblical body stewardship. I openly share faith-based encouragement if desired, but it is never forced.
